Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the WandrMeet application (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WandrMeet.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use WandrMeet. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering
  • Keep your profile information current and truthful
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Not share your account with any other person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use WandrMeet to:

  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Solicit money or financial information from other users
  • Distribute spam, unsolicited promotions, or malware
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without permission
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation without our written consent

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

WandrMeet offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

  • Payments are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable except as required by law
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Failed payments may result in suspension of Premium features

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, bios, messages). By posting, you grant WandrMeet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce your content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you own or have the right to share any content you post and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

7. Intellectual Property

All WandrMeet branding, design, software, and content (excluding user-generated content) is owned by WandrMeet and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any matches or connections will result in in-person meetings
  • Other users' profiles are accurate or their identities verified

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and in person. Use good judgment and prioritise your personal safety.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WandrMeet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, these Terms continue to apply to any prior use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Manila, Philippines, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
